Why We Started
Legacy Builders Landscaping was founded by Christopher Smith and Collin Nealy in 2020 with a straightforward principle: loyalty matters. That means communicating clearly, respecting the customer's property, completing the agreed scope of work, and building relationships that last beyond a single project.
As a locally owned, veteran-owned small business, we bring 15+ years of combined landscaping experience to every project. We serve homeowners and businesses throughout Newport News, Hampton, Yorktown, and Poquoson — and we are equipped for both recurring property maintenance and larger improvement projects including drainage, grading, hardscaping, and landscape renovation.
We show up as scheduled, communicate throughout the project, and review the completed work with the customer before closing the job. That is what loyalty looks like in practice.
